September 10-11, 2010

Synopsis: Here’s the latest (automatically updated) weather map showing three high pressure systems located to the northwest through northeast of the islands. The reason our trade winds aren’t stronger now, is that there’s a low pressure system, with its associated trough, to the north of the state…in between the high pressure systems and our islands. Our local trade winds will remain moderately strong Friday and Saturday…locally stronger and gusty.
